Hello Hello!
I am Shivangi aka Your Designer Didi.
A design grad from NIFT Mumbai and FIT New York with a certification from IIMA and IIMB (Just C to go. Lol), I am a design educator and entrepreneur.
With DesignerShala, I share everything I know and have learned as a designer for over 14 years and dive deep into fashion as a career. My number one goal as a mentor is to help you learn from my experience so that you can find the courage to take action on your own fashion dreams, get into the top fashion and design schools and start your own Fashion Label and design an ecstatic life that you love wholeheartedly. Bauji introduced me to fashion design as a profession

Birth
Circa December 1992, A little after Christmas and just before the new year kicked in, I was born.
2014- 2016
Graduated with 3 awards in college and multiple awards nationally and internationally
Launched India's first Fashion and Design education channel
The Epiphany
2014
Graduated FIT
I was one of the first batches to go to FIT New York in a unique dual-degree program and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Backstaged for fashion weeks, learned so much along the way. BEST year of my life.

Pitched DesignerShala to Niti Aayog's 21-day bootcamp sponsored by Whatsapp
November 27, on Bauji's birthday, I launched DS with a promise to provide quality design education online

IIM Ahemedabad
Took my brand and my YT channel to IIMA for a 6-month course to figure out where could we go from here. (I was also a part of the Shenomics Fellowship program around this time. lol. Always been a nerd)
Incubated by NSRCEL, DesignerShala was fulled funded by Goldmans Sachs for a growth program at IIMB
What started with 1 course, led to 5 courses, 20+ live workshops, thousands of students, and a community of 290k+ across social media.
The vision is to have one million design aspirants pursue their passion in fashion and design.
